The founder
MaXu is a professional Italian photographer active since 2007, creator of this website.
He defines himself as an all-round photographer: throughout his career, he has engaged with various photographic genres, from portraiture to commercial photography, glamour to fashion, and fine-art nude, an area that represents one of his main fields of research and teaching.
In 2010, he founded WorkshopFotografico.com, one of the first Italian platforms dedicated to online photography education. The goal of the site is to make tutorials, video courses, and educational content accessible to both amateur and professional photographers who want to improve their technique, lighting management, subject direction, and post-production.
Alongside online training, MaXu organizes and conducts live workshops throughout Italy, collaborating with professional models and creating practical experiences designed for those who want to deepen their understanding of portrait, glamour, and nude-art photography in curated and stimulating environments.
Subsequently, he also created Shootout.Photography, a project dedicated to large international photography events: multi-day gatherings in selected locations, with numerous models and photographers from different countries, designed as immersive experiences for glamour and fine-art nude enthusiasts.
He is also an Ambassador for LiveStage, an app for iOS and Android that allows photographers connected from all over the world to capture high-resolution images remotely during his fine-art nude sessions in the studio and outdoors. Photographer, educator, and event organizer, MaXu continues to develop projects dedicated to sharing photography culture, with a direct, practical approach focused on field experience. In this version of the site, redesigned and coded by himself in June 2026, he has also introduced the section dedicated to “Models”, a community bulletin board and directory space to view the presence of models and organize your photo shoots independently.
